The Journey

How your CSR funds flow

01: Fund deployment

CSR budget allocated to target geography — district, block, or village cluster level.

02: Soil Didi & Soil Doctor training

Certified women micro-entrepreneurs deployed as local touchpoints. Each is geo-registered with their coverage area.

03: Soil clinic infrastructure established

Field-level testing centres set up with IoT devices. Each test generates a timestamped, geo-tagged digital record.

04: Farmer testing & AI advisory

Every enrolled farmer receives a soil health report and crop-specific advisory. Outcomes tracked across seasons.

05: Dashboard updated in real time

Your partner dashboard reflects every intervention within 24 hours. Audit-ready exports available on demand.

Trusted by communities across India

Every Soil Doctor program runs through partners who are already embedded in the communities they serve — NGOs, foundations, and livelihood organisations with years of farmer trust behind them.

When we bring Soil Doctor into a village, farmers don't just get a soil report — they get someone from their own community explaining what it means and what to do next. That trust is what makes the program stick across seasons.

Madhukkar Varshney Rise Foundation, Dwarka

Soil Doctor fits the way our Foundation works — starting from what the farmer actually needs, not what looks good in a report. The livelihood impact for Soil Didis in our clusters has been real and consistent.

Gopal singh, Jhansi Parmarth Samaj Sevi Sansthan

Our Foundation's work is built around sustainable livelihoods. Soil Doctor's intelligence platform gives our field teams the data to make those livelihoods measurably better — season after season.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q How much CSR funding do we need to start?

A. A focused pilot starts at ₹25–50L, covering 1–2 village clusters (roughly 200–400 farmers and 2–3 clinics/Soil Didis) over 12 months. Multi-district programmes typically run ₹1–3 Cr. We size projects to your CSR mandate and geography — for reference, our current grant-funded deployments range from a ₹20L sandbox project (AgHub/PJTAU, Telangana) up to larger multi-state programmes.

Q What outcomes can we actually report?

A. Based on documented field results, beneficiary farmers have shown 20–28% yield improvement and 15–20% fertiliser cost reduction, alongside livelihood income of ₹15,000–30,000/month for women Soil Didis. We report against output metrics (tests conducted, farmers reached, clinics established, women trained) and impact metrics (yield, input-cost savings, soil-health trend).

Q Is the impact dashboard really real-time?

A: Yes. CSR partners get a live view — farmers enrolled, tests
completed, soil results, income data — updated within 24 hours of each field visit, with geo-tagging and photo documentation.

Q How do we know the data is authentic and auditable?

A: Every test is device-generated, GPS geo-tagged, photo-documented, digitally recorded, and stored on an encrypted cloud. We've validated device results against NABL-accredited lab results for parity. Third-party audit is possible at any time, and we operate in line with India's DPDP Act.

Q Can we measure farmer income impact?

A: Yes. Income impact = verified input-cost savings (checked against receipts) + conservative yield gains (satellite NDVI cross-checked with farmer surveys). Data is available per farmer.

Q Do we get separate reporting for our initiative?

A: Yes. We train rural women as Soil Didis. You receive a Soil Doctor kit, training, and marketing support. Soil Didis earn ₹15,000-30,000/month from soil testing and advisory services.

Q What's the timeline from approval to farmers served?

Roughly: Week 1–2 MoU + planning, Week 3–4 hiring + training, Week 5–6 clinic setup, Week 7+ farmer enrolment. First impact data lands around Month 3.

Q Can we work with our existing NGO partners?

Yes. We integrate with NGO field teams as registered affiliates — they earn commission on tests and get their own dashboard, which speeds up reach and trust. We've run exactly this model with foundation partners in the field.

Q What happens to impact after the grant ends?

Clinics and Soil Didis become self-sustaining on test revenue. When CSR funding ends, services transition to a farmer-paid or partner-funded model rather than stopping — we help design that sustainability plan up front.

Q Are there case studies or references?

Yes. We work with foundation, corporate, and bank CSR partners and grant programmes. Case studies and reference calls are available with partner permission.

Q Does our funding qualify as eligible CSR spend?

Soil Doctor programmes map to Schedule VII activities (agriculture livelihoods, women empowerment, environmental sustainability). We provide documentation to support your CSR committee's eligibility assessment. [confirm with your CA/advisor before stating as fact.]

Can we co-brand the clinics in our CSR area?

Yes, co-branded signage and reports are available for CSR partners; full white-label is available for enterprise programmes.

How do you prevent double-counting of beneficiaries across funders?

Each farmer is uniquely tagged in our system, so the same beneficiary is never reported to two funders. This protects your reporting integrity.

Transforming agriculture through soil intelligence. Helping farmers grow more with less — sustainably.
