A: ₹75,000 (full refundable warranty). We offer payment plans: ₹15,000 upfront + 3 monthly installments of ₹11,700. Some states/NGO partners cover the kit cost through CSR.
Q: Do I need agricultural background to become a Soil Didi?
A: No. We've trained landless laborers, shop assistants, and unemployed graduates. You need willingness to learn, basic literacy, and trust in your community. We handle technical training.
Q: How many villages can one Soil Didi cover?
A: Typically 4-6 villages (population ~5,000-8,000 farmers). Your geographic coverage depends on population density and your capacity. Some Soil Didis expand to 8-10 villages over time.
Q: What if I don't get 30+ tests per month?
A: Realistic expectation: Month 1-2 = 5-10 tests (building trust). Month 3-4 = 15-20 tests. Month 5+ = 30-60 tests. We provide marketing materials and business coaching to help you grow faster.
Q: What if the kit breaks or stops working?
A: The kit has a 1-year refurbishment warranty. Repairs are free for the first year. We have service centers in each state. Average repair turnaround: 5-7 days.
Q: Can I become a Soil Didi if I'm male?
A: The program is designed for women. However, if you're interested in the clinic model (agri-shop setup), we offer that separately. Contact our partnerships team.

A: You set the price (₹300-600/test). Your revenue share: 80% to you, 20% platform fee. Higher prices are possible in affluent areas; lower prices work better in resource-constrained regions.
Q: Is there ongoing support after training?
A: Yes. Monthly peer calls with other Soil Didis, WhatsApp support group, quarterly refresher training, digital tools (booking app, report generation), and marketing templates.
Q: What if I want to stop being a Soil Didi?
A: No lock-in period. You can exit anytime. If you've paid for the kit in full, you own it. If on payment plan, you can settle the remaining amount or return the kit (warranty applies).
